Microbait

A small workshop, a slow method.

Microbait is one workshop on the edge of the Mazury lakes. We work in small batches, with our hands, and we test every lure on the water before it leaves the bench.

We fish these lakes ourselves. That's how the lures get made.

Microbait is a workshop whose owners turned their fishing passion into designing and building fishing lures. Each of our hand-made lures is tested on the water before it goes to the shop.

No lure leaves the workshop untested. We adjust it by hand so it's ready to fish, straight out of the box.

Look closely at every brush finish.

Each colourway is built from eight to twelve translucent layers, painted wet-on-dry so the wood beneath stays visible at the right angle.

The finish is a hard varnish, made to avoid cracking in all weather conditions.
