The incident occurred on a ramp from southbound Route 24 to Route 27. Debris was spread along part of the ramp, but most of the metal pieces fell onto the grassy median.

Video from Sky5 showed both the on and off-ramps were closed as firefighters and ambulances responded to the scene.

Massachusetts State Police said the driver, a 41-year-old from Central Falls, Rhode Island, suffered minor injuries and gasoline was leaking from the truck.

Traffic backups were reported on the southbound side.
